The coin’s reverse depicts a photographic image of Marilyn Monroe set against a background of film and stars.  The design also includes The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark and a representation of Marilyn’s signature.

Issued as Legal Tender

Issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu, the coin bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the 2012 year-date on its obverse.

Extremely Limited Mintage

The Perth Mint will release no more than 12,500 of these coins.
